Experience Studio
Your academy, in your language.
Experience Studio is the part of Allure LMS where an administrator makes the academy their own: a stage template, colours, stage art, logo and the words learners see. Every change is a draft you preview on the real learner home, publish when ready and restore from any earlier version, with no code and no support ticket.
What an admin can change
Five things, one place, no developer.
Studio changes how the academy looks and speaks. Courses, people and records stay exactly as they are.
Stage template
Start from an Allure house template (teal, Harbour, Spruce, Plum, Terracotta, Sand, Graphite) or a private template made for you.
Colours
Pick a field and a signal colour. Every pair is checked for contrast before it can publish, so text stays readable.
Stage art and hero picture
Each template has its own stage art. Swap the hero picture for one from the Allure library or upload your own, with a focal point and alt text.
Logo
When your academy has a logo, it replaces the Allure LMS mark in the top-left, shown once and never duplicated.
Words
Rename Home, the catalog, results, community and the learner profile. The defaults are universal: learners and staff.
Versions
Every publish is numbered. Restore any earlier version in one step if a change is not right.

4Kira4Dads is a nonprofit working to reduce preventable maternal deaths by educating and equipping fathers to advocate for their partners through pregnancy and birth. Its program speaks the language of American football, and its academy is moving from WordPress, LearnDash and BuddyBoss to Allure LMS at learn.4kira4dads.com.
Dads work through a season of six courses: the Warm-Up, four Quarters and Overtime. They check their Player Card, talk it through with their Squads, and pick up the next lesson on The Field.
- Their own template. Touchline, made only for 4Kira4Dads: football navy, a gold thread and blue actions, checked for AA contrast.
- Their logo and art. The 4Kira4Dads logo in place of the Allure LMS mark, gridiron stage art on the homes and an end zone for work areas.
- Their words. The Field, The Playbook, My Progress, Squads and Player Card, everywhere learners look.
- Their season, carried over. Six courses, their SCORM lessons moving to Allure Connect, and each dad’s progress coming with them. In rehearsal, every learner’s course and lesson locks matched the WordPress site.

Can I rename what things are called?
Yes. In 4Kira4Dads’ academy a learner’s profile is a Player Card, community is Squads, and the catalog is The Playbook. The words live in the workspace’s Experience document, so they follow learners across every screen that uses them.

How it works today
Draft, preview, publish, restore.
Studio is admin-only and behaves like any other configuration change: nothing reaches learners until it is published, and nothing published is permanent.
Choose a template
House templates are open to every academy. A private client template, like Touchline, is offered only to that client’s workspace; the server enforces it.
Set colours, art and words
Colours are checked for contrast as you choose them. The hero picture comes from the library or your own upload.
Preview on the real home
The draft renders on the learner home before anyone sees it, in light and, where the template has one, night mode.
Publish, or restore
Publishing creates a numbered version. Restore any earlier version in one step.
Your words reach community too.
Community is one of the areas Studio can rename. 4Kira4Dads’ practice feed, groups and messages live under “Squads”.

- Your assistant proposes templates, colours, art and words; it never publishes on its own.

Can I rename what things are called for my organization?
Yes. Experience Studio lets an administrator change the words learners see, such as the names of Home, the catalog, results, community and the learner profile. 4Kira4Dads calls its community “Squads” and the learner profile a “Player Card”.
Do I need a developer?
No. Templates, colours, stage art, logos and words are set in Experience Studio by an administrator, with no code and no support ticket.
Can I preview before publishing?
Yes. Changes are saved as a draft and previewed on the real learner home before anyone sees them. Colour choices are checked for contrast before they can publish.
Can I roll back?
Yes. Every publish is a numbered version, and an administrator can restore an earlier version at any time.
Will I be able to do this with my own AI tools?
That is where Experience Studio is going: connect your own AI assistant to propose look-and-feel and wording changes within limits Allure sets, with an administrator still approving what publishes. It is not available today; today’s Studio is configured by people.
Can we have our own private template?
Yes. A client template, like 4Kira4Dads’ Touchline, is offered only to that client’s workspace. Allure’s house templates are open to every academy.
