What you can change
- Stage template. Allure's house templates (the teal default, Harbour, Spruce, Plum, Terracotta, Sand and Graphite) are open to every academy. A client can also have a private template, like 4Kira4Dads' Touchline, offered only to that client's workspace.
- Colours. A field colour and a signal colour. Every text and control pairing is checked for contrast before a draft can publish.
- Stage art and the hero picture. Each template has its own art. Swap the hero picture for one from the Allure library or upload your own with a focal point and alt text.
- Logo. When an academy has a logo, it replaces the Allure LMS mark in the top-left, once.
- Words. Rename the areas learners move between: Home, the catalog, results, community and the learner profile.
Words in practice
4Kira4Dads, a nonprofit that educates fathers to advocate for maternal health in the language of American football, renamed its academy like this:

The defaults are universal (learners and staff), so only rename what your community genuinely says differently.
What Studio does not change
- Course content, structure or unlock rules. Authors do that in the course studio.
- People, roles or permissions. Administrators do that in the organization settings.
- Grades, results and learning records. Studio never touches them.
Draft, preview, publish, restore
Every change starts as a draft, previews on the real learner home, and publishes as a numbered version. An administrator can restore any earlier version in one step.
Where it is going
We are building toward an AI-driven Experience Studio: connect your own AI assistant to propose look-and-feel and wording changes, within limits Allure sets, with an administrator approving what publishes. It is not available today. Read more on the Experience Studio page.
