About Allure LMS
What is Allure LMS?
Allure LMS is a learning management system that brings courses, practice, instructor feedback, community and learning records into one role-aware workspace. It is designed for organizations that want a clearer connection between learning activity and demonstrated progress, and it configures to the words and look each organization already uses.
Who is Allure LMS designed for?
Allure LMS is designed for workforce and community programs, safety and compliance training teams, and commercial training providers. Learners, instructors, authors, managers and administrators each get tools suited to their responsibilities.
What can I try in the demo?
The demo includes a sample lesson, quiz and assignment. Use one demo account to switch between learner, instructor and administrator perspectives. Practice with fictional information; your progress is saved privately in your own demo workspace. See the demo page.
How do SCORM and xAPI fit in?
Allure Connect provides the standards delivery and learning-record infrastructure behind Allure LMS, so SCORM packages are hosted and launched on the same infrastructure that runs Allure Connect. Confirm your content and reporting requirements during setup and test your own packages before launch. See integrations.
What is CALE?
CALE stands for Competency-based Adaptive Learning Engine. It is Allure’s approach to using skill evidence to inform the next learning step and explain the recommendation. Learner-facing adaptive experiences are part of guided early access; availability is confirmed for each implementation.
Can an administrator set up an enterprise academy?
Yes. Enterprise onboarding starts with the organization’s workspace, people, permissions and course requirements. Existing content and learning history need a separate migration and validation plan before any cutover. See enterprise setup.
Where are accounts and billing managed?
People sign in with Allure Account, the single sign-in for every Allure product. Allure LMS manages the learning workspace, course activity and role-based access. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe from the workspace’s billing settings.
Plans and billing
What is an active learner?
An active learner is a person with the learner role who launched, progressed in or submitted learning during the monthly billing window. Seats held open, pending invitations, administrators, instructors, managers and course builders are never counted.
What happens if we go past the plan’s learners?
On Core and Growth you keep going: learners above the included amount are billed at $1 (Core) or $0.75 (Growth) each for that month, in arrears. Starter is a cap of 100 active learners a month: a new learner past it is asked to wait and the admin sees an upgrade prompt. Learners already active that month are never interrupted.
Can we pay yearly?
Starter can be paid monthly ($39) or yearly ($390). Core and Growth are billed monthly. Enterprise is priced by agreement.
What is your refund policy?
Annual plans come with a 30-day refund. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time from your billing settings; the plan stays active until the end of the month you have paid for. The Terms, section 8 cover renewal, cancellation and taxes.
What is a Course Pass?
A Course Pass ($49, once) gives one course version to one cohort of up to 50 learners for 60 consecutive days after activation. It is sold through Allure Training OS to accounts that already hold a Training OS subscription, and it is delivered by Allure LMS. It is coming soon.
Is there a free trial?
There is no free plan. The demo lets you try learner, instructor and administrator views with fictional content before you buy.
Do prices include tax?
No. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax we are required to collect, which is added at checkout.
Experience Studio
Can I rename what things are called for my organization?
Yes. Experience Studio lets an administrator change the words learners see, such as the names of Home, the catalog, results, community and the learner profile. 4Kira4Dads calls its community “Squads” and the learner profile a “Player Card”.
Do I need a developer?
No. Templates, colours, stage art, logos and words are set in Experience Studio by an administrator, with no code and no support ticket.
Can I preview before publishing?
Yes. Changes are saved as a draft and previewed on the real learner home before anyone sees them. Colour choices are checked for contrast before they can publish.
Can I roll back?
Yes. Every publish is a numbered version, and an administrator can restore an earlier version at any time.
Will I be able to do this with my own AI tools?
That is where Experience Studio is going: connect your own AI assistant to propose look-and-feel and wording changes within limits Allure sets, with an administrator still approving what publishes. It is not available today; today’s Studio is configured by people.
Can we have our own private template?
Yes. A client template, like 4Kira4Dads’ Touchline, is offered only to that client’s workspace. Allure’s house templates are open to every academy.
Community
Is community included or an add-on?
Community is a module of Allure LMS, not a separate product. It is on by default for learners in workspaces that have it. Which plans include it is set out on the pricing page.
Can an admin turn it off?
Yes. Community is switched on and off by an administrator like every other optional module.
Does community use our words too?
Yes. Experience Studio can rename it. 4Kira4Dads’ community is called “Squads”.
What does community include?
A practice feed, groups, and direct messages between learners and instructors, with notifications that bring people back when something needs them.
Roles, privacy and security
Is the demo role switcher a production permission switch?
No. The demo lets one person explore several perspectives. Real workspaces use assigned roles and server-enforced permissions; learners cannot promote themselves to administrators.
Does Allure LMS have SOC 2 or ISO 27001?
No. We do not hold a third-party security certification, and we do not claim one. Enterprise academies get a documented security overview and our subprocessor list. See security.
Who processes our data?
Allure LMS runs on named service providers, including Vercel, Convex, Clerk, Stripe, Cloudflare R2 (through Allure Connect), Resend and Sentry. The full list, with what each does, is in the Privacy Policy.
How do we make a privacy request?
Use the privacy request form at www.allurelms.com/privacy/request or email info@allurelms.com. Learners in an organization’s workspace can also ask their organization.
